SERVICE FRAMEWORK
Legal notice & service conditions
Company and advocate status. The ILVARIS brand and the expression ‘legal services’ do not themselves establish the status of an advocate or an advocates’ organisation. Advocacy is carried out only by an advocate under applicable law. Where an advocate’s services are required, a separate written legal-assistance agreement is concluded with the advocate or relevant advocates’ organisation. [1]
Representation in courts and other proceedings. Status and authority must comply with the applicable procedural rules. Matters and stages requiring an advocate are arranged through an advocate. A company power of attorney does not automatically permit representation in every court or type of case. Arbitration and international procedures have their own representation requirements. [1, 2]
Notarial and official certification. ILVARIS may prepare drafts and coordinate translation and submission. Notarial acts, notarised translations, apostille and legalisation are performed only by the competent authorised persons or bodies. [3]
Mediation. Preparing for mediation and assisting a party are distinct from acting as a mediator. Mediation is conducted by a lawfully authorised mediator or mediation organisation. Impartiality and restrictions on assisting a party in the same dispute are respected. [4]
Licences and specialised authority. Licensing, permit and registration support means legal advice, documentation and procedural assistance. Decisions are made by competent bodies; positive outcomes are not guaranteed. Financial-sector requirements apply separately. Activities requiring special status — including audit, valuation, medical/technical expertise, patent representation, customs representation and insolvency asset administration — are assigned to appropriately authorised persons. [5]
Scope and professional responsibility. Foreign-law advice and overseas representation are arranged with professionals authorised in the relevant country. Conflicts, confidentiality and team competence are checked when accepting instructions. Scope, fees, third-party costs and performance terms are agreed by contract. The catalogue is neither an opinion on an individual matter nor a guarantee of an outcome.
